Ahipara
If you are visiting Ahipara, walking around the reef and along the Ahipara foreshore would be a good idea. iYou will get the scenic views with lovely land scape. Many areas of Te Oneroa a Tohe (90 Mile Beach) provide perfect opportunities for swimming and relaxing.
Waipu Caves Walk
This is a 2 km walk from the Ormistion Road end. The track leads you across a steep ridge. The walk way enters the Waipu Caves Road Scenic Reserve and you can you can view Whangarei Heads in the background.
